bird lucky stars

Hello
Love to Scrap is hosting a new Anything goes challenge with 3 sponsors
i was very lucky to work with this cute little birdie from Limited Runs, i love this cute cute little stamp!
I used distress inks to make my background then embossed some stars from Lawn fawn starry background, die cut a mama elephant circle on a white cardstock, stamped and embossed the mama elephant sentiment. i added cardboard under the white paper to give dimension and place the bird.
i then added the brown card background.
unfortunately i forgot to use my embossing buddy so some stars did not come out as neat as i wanted...
little stamp was colored with Promarkers: ice grey 1 for the eyes' shade
pastel yellow, sunflower and honeycomb for the body
lime green and cool grey 3 for the leaves
cinnamon, saddle brown and honeycomb for the branch
challenges entered:
stempelsonne: anythg goes
Passion for Promarkers: shades of autumn

Don't be afraid...I'm here

Hello !
Spooky month this time of year and Love to Scrap! is having a "Frightfully Fun" challenge with
3 awesome sponsors! Sheepski Design, Oddball Art co. and Bugaboo stamps!
this is my goodie bag project with Fuzzy Friends:
On this frightful month i wanted to send a reassuring message to one of my babies and i thought this image would fit perfectly although i know it is rather unexpected for Hallowween...
i colored the bears with Promarkers Dusky Pink, honeycomb, cinnamon, burnt sienna, sunflower, pastel yellow, lime green
as always my tools were some Lawn fawn and Spellbinders dies

Challenges entered:
-Deep ocean challenge: goodbye summer
-the crafty addicts: anythg goes
Tuesday Throwdown: more than one fold
-As you like it: favourite paper
For as you like it challenge:
this is my all time favorite paper:
it comes from the company my grand father used to work in, (closed down now); it was used to print out all their orders, it has carbon pages in between to make instant copies. i carefully take those away because they leave dark traces on the paper. the paper is not very thick but thick enough for stamping and marker colouring although you have to be careful when colouring because the ink tends to run. so it takes some practice to use this paper but i like to imagine that Charles Jourdan would be pleased to see all sorts of cute characters emerging from his accounting paper...

Hello from the Alps !

Hello!
today I'm sharing cards that are close to my heart.
i love the little scenes on them. i've used Lawn fawn stamps and made a french letter box so that the critters can send a little hello from the Alps.
i also made a little film with a music to show them better. hope you'll like them as much as i do.

lawn fawn pop up box die set, lawn fawn baby stamp set and die, lawn fawn yay kites stamp and die set, lawn fawn forest border die, mama elephant mountains die, martha stewart flower punch, poppy stamp grass, lawn fawn stitched hill die and shuly envelope, sentiment and letter box stamps.
coloring: promarkers

challenges:
Lawn fawn : create a scene
as you like it: fauna or flora? i love both but have a real passion for fauna. i always try to communicate with them esp birds and it often works, they come closer, or answer, in my world all animals are friendly and deserve great respect.
