the text says something like: "my own little happiness" don't know if sounds good in English but it does sound cute in french... it's so magical in real life cause you see the butterflies and beads moving... hope you like my little box, have a beautiful day challenges entered -Lawn Fawn: Spring inspiration board -card mania: life is colourful -the ribbon girl : may challenge +cupcake inspiration: mother's day +scrapy land: anythg with a die
the stamp is by All Dressed up, the flowers from la la land, except for the border which is a border punch from Martha stewart
everything colored up with Promarkers
-As You Like It: favourite die (Lawn Fawn's pop up box card die allows me to build up pop up boxes without measuring and cutting up papers myself cause i'm very very bad at measuring and cutting papers by myself, i usually mess it all up and waste a lot)
-Cute card thursday: dies and punches
I used Mama elephant's cub cuddle stamps set for this card
i first made a distress ink background using mama elephant's cross stitched frame die.
i then colored up my bears (mama elephant cub cuddles) with promarkers.
i stuck the bears on some cardboard and curved the penants upwards to add dimenstion,
then i die cut some stars with Lawn fawn's starry sky die, added them to the sky and covered them up with some glitter.
i stamped the sentiment at the bottom, hoping i wouldn't mess it all up now.
The card opens up on a little pop up:
the text is embossed with holographic glitter, and the edges are die cut with lawn fawn's scalloped edge.
i have used a mama elephant frame for the front, added dimension by first cutting a cardboard frame that i glued under the green layer.
between the acetate and the purple frame, i glued a flower border (martha stewart punch)
i placed the owls on top, they are from Lawn fawn's mom + me stamp set. i added some pearls and sequins too.
my coloring is made with promarkers: saffron, spice, honeycomb, sunflower, burnt sienna, orchid, lime green, rose pink, cocktail pink, cinnamon, saddle brown, dusky pink, blender.
I then cut a creamy white paper with Lawn fawn's stitched scalloped borders, cut two slits in the center for the pop up piece and glued the owls there. i added a little piece of cardstock behind the baby to add some dimension between the two owls. same thing for the flower border.
i finally stamped and embossed a lawn fawn sentiment above the two owls.
